And not have to worry about the cost of fixing/maintaining your plane! BTW, my father was a retired Lt.Col from the Airforce. When he hit the mandatory age (where you cannot fly any more), he retire because he couldn't get the thrill of flying any more! Why sit at a desk and look at planes taking off and landing. He actually retired at the same cerimony with Chuck Yeager at Norton AFB (back in 1975 or 76), which was where my dad was stationed at for 5 yrs. I'll check with MOM to see if I can get the news clipping of it, if you are interested. Also, let me add, my best friend has a Uncle who after the military is now flying for Toyota Executives (believe he lives in Texas) and makes BANK! 6 figures as a private pilot! All I can say is my dad enjoyed flying so much, so you better also! How many can say they flew a mititary jet or planes for a living!:) Congrats dude
